Bookbinding Courses

​The Bookends Bindery is happy to announce that we will be offering a full range of workshops that will take place in our bindery.

The courses will be aimed at beginners so no experience is necessary.

Bookends Bindery can also offer bespoke courses for corporate events and team building. These workshops can be tailored to you and can take place at the bindery or we can bring our courses to you.

This 1 day course will introduce students to the basic skills involved in creating an A5 multi signature, hardback book.

Traditional styles and techniques will be used to create the bindings.

The course is aimed at beginners, students will use a range of materials and will sew, trim and glue their own books.

Notes will be supplied following the course to allow participants to try these techniques in their own time.
